On the running side of things, it was a pretty easy Saturday. Last week was our slower week, so our mileage for Saturday only called for 12 miles. Wow, I never thought I'd say "only" 12 miles. Anywho, woke up Saturday morning and it was raining. UGH! I have never been one with the rain so was kind of apprehensive about getting out there and running for 2 hours in it. But really... it wasn't so bad! I was definitely not feeling on top of my game though, with a headache that pounded with every step, yuck.
Holy moly, Seattle is getting soooo close!! A little over a week and a month! SUPER excited. Hannah and Madison have started talking about what to wear, what to pack, what to eat... goodness I don't want to start thinking about that already!! AH!
In other news, I graduated Saturday! I officially have my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, woot! I didn't walk at graduation, but did have a small celebratory dinner with the family followed by a night on the town. It was a blast. I invited my friend Madison to come along to dinner with me then met up with some more friends to go downtown.
I have a Garmin: I'm a real runner now!! I can't wait until Saturday to try it out on our long run. I plan on actually reading the Owner's Manual to figure things out... something I rarely do. I'm sure you will hear all about my Garmin experiences after Saturday!

Yay for the Garmin!!! I totally read the entire owners manual while I was waiting the 3 hours for the battery to charge. I also found some helpful instructional videos on thier website. Have fun!
congrats on graduating! i have that same garmin and LOVE it. definitely read the manual though, it can be a bit tricky at first. let me know if you have any questions! it's funny how our perspective can change as we train more and the challenges become easy!
I wonder sometimes if I will ever stop being surprised calling any run only "x" miles.
Congrats on the Garmin! Love the running at the table pic.
Be careful with that Garmin, they're addictive........ Congrats.
Congrats on your graduation! I am sure that you will have a bright future full of excitement and adventure! The world better watch out:)
You will love the Garmin and wonder what you ever did without it:)
Congrats on graduation.
And having a Garmin seems to change everything, especially if you're a numbers person (I would assume you'd have to be if you got your degree in accounting). I'll put in a quick plug for Sport Tracks, a free program that is MUCH better than the one that comes with the Garmin.
You are so going to love that thing. Enjoy the running freedom that it brings! And congrats on the graduation!
Congrats on graduating!! (why is that people dont seem to want to walk anymore?)
Have fun with the Garmin, they are sooooo fun, btw you became a runner when you said "only 12 miles"
